ABOUT
BPC, BACP, FPC Registered Psychodynamic Psychotherapist HCPC, BAAT Registered Art Psychotherapist
I trained at Goldsmiths, University of London where I gained an MA in art psychotherapy. I have been working as an art psychotherapist for 13 years, and have experience working with adults and children in educational, psychiatric and third sector settings.
Having worked extensively as an art psychotherapist with both adults and children, I completed the psychodynamic psychotherapy qualification at WPF, which was one of the UK’s leading training and clinical organisations for psychotherapy, validated by the University of Roehampton. I am a professional member of HCPC, BACP, BAAT, BPC and FPC and adhere to their code of ethics and working practice. I have worked within the NHS, community and agency settings as well as in private practice.
I am currently a candidate in training as a Jungian analyst, where working
with the unconscious, for example through dreams, becomes important,
in order to live an enriched and symbolic life.
It is a privilege to share in the journey of therapeutic exploration. I enjoy
providing the space to find potential of what you might discover, in a
completely different way through the use of art-making.
I work from SW London, online and at various organisations.
"Creativity sometimes needs the protection of darkness, of being ignored. That is very obvious in the natural tendency many artists and writers have not to show their paintings or writings before they are finished."
